© Pendle Forest History Group 2017 webfactorynw.co.uk Project News News 2017 February is the start of a new year for the group and alongside the PFHG website which gives access to documents in our archive we now have a face book page to keep you up to date with our regular activities. In the year ahead we expect to see further investigations taking place at Thorneyholme in Roughlee in order to understand more about the early corn mills and spinning mill that once operated there and in June we have been asked to put on an exhibition about the history of Roughlee for the Parish Council’s annual open evening. Our monthly meetings at which we enjoy talks and project reports continue to be well attended and members are looking forward to new opportunities to investigate the archaeological past of our area through supporting the Forest of Bowland’s Pendle Hill Landscape Partnership Project.
